Real Origin of Islam and Muhammad

1. The research conclusions of Jay Smith's from Pfander Films.

Jay Smith and his team are world renown scholars and researchers of the origin and foundation of Islam, of Allah, Muhammad and the Quran and the historical truth about the place Mecca. 

Their program reviewing the Historical Problems with Islam as Muslims make many historical claims about Muhammad, Mecca, Islam, Muslims and the Qibla (direction of prayer). They believe their beliefs are historical and reliable. Yet little real analysis has been done on these claims. This is what this program is all about. "This is an important area of research, because if a book claims to be from God, it makes claims about peoples, places, events and time periods. So we can go to the historical record about these peoples, places, events and time periods and do a comparison to see if indeed the book claiming to be from God, in this case the Qur’an, gets it right in all four areas. If it is not historically accurate, and if it cannot be supported by the evidence, then it cannot be from God, because God would know what actually happened in history."

In this 8-minute recap "Where is 7th century Islam? A quick Synopsis!" Jay covers a quick overview of what he and Al Fadi have discussed so far in this series concerning Muhammad and early Islam.

He notes that in the previous 7 episodes of this series they have recounted and unpacked a number of cogent areas in their search to find any references for Islam in the 7th century. Yet, they still can't even locate any references to the Muhammad of the later 9th-10th century traditions in the century he supposedly lived, the 7th century. They began by asking why the traditions were written so late, over 200 - 300 years after the events they were reporting, and compiled by men who lived 1000s of miles from the area these events supposedly occurred? Jay made a comparison with the later 2nd and 3rd century Gnostic traditions concerning the life and sayings of Jesus Christ, which portray Jesus as devious and inept, and only interested in using his power to harm and even kill people; a completely different Jesus from what we read in the much earlier Gospel accounts of his life and sayings. Jay contended that if you wanted to know the true historical Jesus you would never go to the later Gnostic traditions to find out about him, but you would go to those pieces of evidence which come from the same time he lived and from the same place he resided, the Gospel accounts. In the same way, we shouldn't be looking to the much later 9th - 10th century Islamic Traditions to find out about Muhammad, but should be going to those pieces of evidence which exist in the same time period he supposedly lived, and in the same area he supposedly came from. Yet, when we do that, we find absolutely nothing, suggesting pretty clearly that the historical credibility for this man and this faith are dire indeed. When they looked at the Qur'an, they noted that the Qira'at Qur'ans (the official 30 different readings of the Qur'an) proved that the Qur'an itself was first compiled and rewritten numerous times in the 8th, 9th and 10th centuries, which completely contradicted what the Standard Islamic Narratives (SIN) tell us. The coins and the rock Inscriptions from the 7th century, which are the best objects we have from the very place and era Muhammad and early Islam existed, clearly suggest that there was nothing Islamic at all until after 690 AD, once again completely confronting the Standard Islamic Narrative (SIN). What they have found in these first 7 episodes conclude pretty concretely that the person called Muhammad, as well as the people known as Muslims (including the first 4 'rightly guided caliphs'), the religion called Islam, the city called Mecca, and the book referred to as the Qur'an cannot be found on any artefact at all prior to 690 AD, which is around 60 years after Muhammad supposedly died! Ray acknowledge that they still have much to cover in their search for a 7th century Islam, but it is good to take a pause and ascertain where exactly they have bee, and reiterate what they have found.  Jay points out that the accounts of Jesus were written 15-60 years after the death and Resurrection of Jesus by eyewitness and friends of the eyewitnesses. Matthew and John were eyewitnesses. Mark and Luke got their information from the eyewitnesses. 

When you look at what we have historically and what Islam has historically, there is no comparison.

Islam was written 200-300 years after the death of Muhammad by no eyewitnesses or by people who never knew him, nor even lived in the same country he lived. That is why we can know exactly who Jesus was and what Jesus said.

Jay concluded: I Place ALL my Trust in My Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ as Muslims Should.

Jesus is far more than God’s mere messenger. Jesus Christ is God’s one and only Son (John 3:16-18). Further, He is the Second Person of the Trinity, God incarnate—God Himself (John 1:1,14; 5:18). Jesus claimed to be both “the Lord” and “God”’

 No one can deny that Muslims reject the biblical Jesus. Yet it was Jesus Himself who warned all men, “If you do not believe that I am the one I claim to be, you will indeed die in your sins” (John 8:24).

-        Allah & Muhammad had nothing to do with the origin of the Quran or Islam.

-        The Quran and Islam was created by Abdul Malik in the 8th century who was a caliph from 685-705 - the great Arab reformer.

-        Abdul Malik takes and creates an Identity for Arabs.

-        Abdul Malik names who the prophet will be.

-        Abdul Malik creates the first Quran in the 8th century.

-        Abdul Malik Introduces the name Muslim and Islam.

-        It all begins with Abdul Malik in the 8th century.

-        200 to 300 years after Muhammad's death, the Quran was made.

-       The biography we have of Muhammad is from the 9th century.

-       There is no complete manuscript at all from the 7th century, they only appear in the 8th century.

-        70% of the Quran is borrowed writings from Jewish writings and Christian sectarians and all western scholars agree on this.

-        There are no peaceful verses in the Quran.

-        Muhammad was never about peace. He killed, raped, and robbed everywhere he went.

-        20% of Muslim scholars don't even understand the Quran.

The Bible passes every test unlike the Quran.

-        "Whoever has the Son (Jesus) has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life" - 1 John 5:12

-        "Whoever believes in the Son (Jesus) has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God's wrath (Hell) remains on them" - John 3:36.
